Refund Policy for Pre-registration:
To request a refund, please send a letter stating the pre-registrant’s name and the payment amount. There is a non-refundable service charge of $50.00 for processing refunds.
Requests for pre-registration refunds must be received by 2 August 2019. No requests for refunds will be accepted after this date.
Reduced Registration Fees:
In an effort to assist any who would like to attend the Group IV Photonics Conference 2019, the Photonics Society is now offering reduced registration fees based on World Bank country classifications. The World Bank uses four categories according to each country’s gross national income per capita: High income, upper middle income, lower middle income and low income. Starting with high income countries and assigning a number N=0 through 3 to each category, a reduction of 25xN % will be applied for any registrant from a given country.
If you would like to take advantage of the reduced registration fee program, please contact Jess Kontura at GFPreg@ieee.org. When completing the conference registration form, please indicate your country’s appropriate classification in the space provided and calculate your reduction.
